ISIE SEM 2026 will be hosted at Fitzwilliam College, the University of Cambridge. The college is on Storey’s Way in north-west Cambridge.

We recommend using Train Line or National Rail to book train travel within the UK, and encourage international conference attendees to travel via train where possible!
Travelling to the conference venue
Cambridge train station is the closest train station to Fitzwilliam College. To travel to Fitzwilliam College from the train station you can take a taxi from the taxi rank outside of the station (10-15 minute drive), bus (30 minutes), or walk (45 minutes).

Travelling to Cambridge from London airports
Cambridge is easily accessible from London international airports, with London Stansted being the closest airport.
Stansted
There are direct trains from London Stansted Airport to Cambridge train station (journey time: approx. 35m). Alternatively, take a National Express coach from Stansted Airport to Cambridge city centre.
Gatwick
There are direct trains from Gatwick to Cambridge train station (journey time: approx. 1h 55m).
Alternatively, take a National Express coach from Gatwick Airport to Cambridge city centre.
Heathrow
There are no direct trains from Heathrow Airport to Cambridge train station. Travellers will first need to travel into central London, then take a train to Cambridge train station. There are a couple of options of how to do this, outlined here on page 3.
